Nobel is strategically located in Zwijndrecht, near the Oude Maas, where sea and inland shipping meet. The location includes a facility of over 5,000 m² that houses a warehouse, shipstore, and offices — as well as a bunker station and a large quay.

In 2010, Nobel opened its brand-new facility featuring a 4,500m² warehouse and a 500m² shipstore. Thanks to this expansion, Nobel is able to offer its customers an even wider range of products with even shorter delivery times.

Surrounding the facility is a 350-meter-long, ISPS-certified quay, including the bunker station: De Tubantia. This quay is ideal for (LNG) bunkering via the TTS method, lifting operations, repairs, overnight stays, and drop-offs/pick-ups of goods and pilots.

Nobel’s quay is fully automated ISPS-certified, specifically designed for safe and efficient access within seagoing shipping. Thanks to modern Face ID technology, users can easily and quickly gain access to the ISPS quay.

Unique LNG bunkering quay.

Since 2011, Nobel has a certified LNG quay and had the honor of bunkering the first inland vessel powered by LNG. Today, this same quay is ISPS-certified, and various parties make use of the LNG quay of Nobel.
